La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel, St Martin Sandy Ground, Sandy Ground

I recently spent eight nights at this hotel, and overall, it was a great experience! The suite was lovely, with nice amenities and direct beach access. However, I faced a few issues like inconsistent water pressure in the shower and a few other minor details. Breakfast could have been better since they didn’t serve eggs, which seemed odd given the price. Nonetheless, the dining options were pleasant, especially the beach lunch restaurant with a fantastic view.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The views from my room were stunning, and I loved having easy access to the beach. However, the shower pressure was inconsistent, and the breakfast options could use some improvement. The staff were absolutely amazing, and the beach setup was quite convenient, making it a generally relaxing stay.

La Samanna is a gorgeous resort located in St. Martin, offering beautiful beach cabanas and excellent water sports options. The staff truly takes care of you, making it a relaxing getaway, especially during the holiday season. However, it does have some drawbacks such as rocky beach areas which can hinder swimming, and the dining experience has some limitations regarding breakfast options and pricing.

We had an unforgettable experience celebrating a friend's retirement at this beautiful resort. The cabana we rented was worth the high price, offering excellent service, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings. On the other hand, our recent stay at Belmond La Samanna had some drawbacks, particularly with room issues and check-in problems, which made it less enjoyable than expected. Overall, while we had a fantastic time at the first resort, our second experience was not ideal.
